Warchal release Timbre strings for Viola

The new Warchal Timbre viola set follows on from the success of the Timbre violin set.  This premium quality string set is the best that Warchal have made so far.  At the heart of these synthetic core strings is Warchal's advanced W-Core formula. Timbre was developed in order to achieve a real gut-like sound and feeling but without the tuning instabilities associated with natural gut.  The gut-like sound means that Timbre strings are designed to reveal the natural beauty of your instrument's tone without changing its character. The Timbre Viola A string is wound with hydronalium.  The D, G and C strings are wound with pure silver.  An alternative metal A string is in development.
